An important Theodore Roosevelt signed typed letter from the Headquarters 2nd Birgade (sic) Cavalry Division in camp near Santiago de Cuba dated August 5 1898, in regard to the Rough Riders being "slandered" in the recent issue of Army-Navy Journal as to friendly fire and being rescued.
