At Pook and Pook, we endeavor to make the consignment process as easy as possible. From accurate pre-auction estimates to a simple commission structure with no fees for insurance, photography and advertising, we make your experience with us as transparent as possible. There are several ways to begin the consignment process and in all cases, a preliminary review is free and confidential.

Photographs

Send photographs of the items you are considering placing at auction via regular mail or e-mail. Be sure to include any and all information that may affect value such as age, size and condition. You may address the photographs to a specific department or simply to “consignments” and we will be sure the appropriate appraiser reviews the material. We do our very best to be accurate with our assessments, however photographs are not a substitute for first hand examinations and estimates may change upon a physical review of your items.

Visit Our Office

Pook and Pook conducts open appraisal days on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. If you prefer an alternate time, simply call our office and we will schedule an appointment with the appropriate appraiser.

House Calls

At times an appraiser or team of appraisers will travel to your location to inspect large consignments or estates. These can usually be scheduled within two weeks of your request.

Consignments

Pook and Pook uses a large array of tools in order to expose your items to the largest possible audience. This includes color catalogs, print and online advertising, as well as direct mailings and our own state of the art website. Bidders are also offered several avenues of bidding, which include online, absentee, phone and, of course, live in-house bidding.
