Carved and painted cigar store Indian maiden, attributed to the shop of Thomas Brooks, New York, 1811-1887, holding a tobacco leaves, 72 1/2" h. Provenance: Judith and James Milne, At Home Antiques, Kingston, NY, 2006.

Condition:

55'' h. (w/o base). Layers of paint may obscure old repairs. Repaired break to hand is visible as are cracks to the feet and base.
