Northwest Coast Indian carved and painted whale transformation totem pole, mid/late 19th c., probably Haida, with a bird atop a whale and a man's face on base, 43" l.

Condition:Fins broken and reglued, bird body repaired and shortened in height, bird repaired with glue and nails, Some losses to paint from wear.
